Forcapil® - Frequently asked questions

To a certain extent, your hair mirrors your lifestyle. When you feel stressed, your hair becomes fragile and limp and falls out more easily.

I am pregnant. Can I take Forcapil®?
Forcapil® Fortifying Hair & Nails and Forcapil® ® Keratin+ may be taken during pregnancy. Forcapil® Anti-Hair Loss Loss is not recommended during pregnancy, and Forcapil® Hair Activ may be used from the 4th month of pregnancy.
I am breastfeeding my child. Can I take Forcapil®?
Forcapil® Fortifying Hair & Nails, Forcapil® Keratin+ and Forcapil® Hair Activ products may be used if breastfeeding. Le Forcapil® Anti-Hair Loss is not recommended during breastfeeding.
I am on medication for hair loss. Can I take them together?
The combination may be helpful. Ask your doctor or healthcare provider for advice.
My hair is in a very poor state. Can I increase the dose?
No. You must follow the instructions for use. However, make sure that you complete the full programme of at least 3 months. If you do not see any improvement, consult your doctor.
I am diabetic. Does Forcapil® contain any sugars?
Forcapil® only provides about 20 mg of sugar per day. For example, one sugar cube is equivalent to more than 200 times the dose. Under normal conditions of use, the product should not incur any glucose-related risks. Ask your doctor or healthcare provider for advice.
Can I take Forcapil® all the time (throughout the year)?
No. It is recommended to follow the 3-month programme, mainly during the transitional periods between seasons.
I am overweight. Must I increase the dose or follow it?
No. The dose is for adults of all weights. Therefore, you are advised to take the recommended daily dose.
How long will it take before I notice an improvement?
You are advised to follow the complete 3-month programme to be in line with the hair life cycle. However, some people see an improvement right from the first month.
I have trouble swallowing the capsules. Can I empty the capsule of its content without any risk to my stomach? If so, how should I use the content?
Yes. You can open the capsule and mix the content with yoghurt, stewed fruit, jam or honey, without any risk of indigestion.
I am suffering from osteoporosis and I am taking a vitamin D-based treatment. Is there any danger of an overdose if I take Forcapil®, which also contains vitamin D?
It depends on the daily dose of your vitamin D-based treatment. Even if the quantity of vitamin D in Forcapil is quite small, you should ask your doctor or healthcare providerfor advice.
