I am diabetic. Which Arkoroyal® products can I use?
In diabetic patients, if there is no contraindication with the ingredients present in the formula, we recommend taking into account the amount of sugar provided by the finished product and taking it with a meal to avoid fasting insulin peak.
We recommend Arkoroyal® Pure Royal Jelly in a jar, it is suitable for diabetics since it only contains traces of sugar.
Is it possible to dilute a vial in something other than water?
Of course, you can dilute them in fruit juice or syrup.
Due to their natural characteristics, some products may have a pronounced taste or smell. Fruit juice is therefore a good option for masking these issues.
Can I take Arkoroyal® products throughout the year?
Yes it is advised to repeat the intake of Arkoroyal® products several times a year.
Should Arkoroyal® vials be stored in a cool place?
Arkoroyal® vials don't need to be stored in a cool place because they are subjected to a thermal treatment during their manufacturing process. It protects them against growth of microbiological organisms while being gentle and performed at a temperature that allows to preserve their properties.
I am taking vitamin K antagonist, is there an interaction with Arkoroyal® products?
The Arkoroyal® products Dynergie and Royal’Fruits contain plants (ginseng and goji) which can interact with VKA anticoagulants, it is therefore advised to obtain the opinion of a doctor before taking them.
Can people who are allergic to pollen during spring develop an allergy to Royal Jelly and products from the hive?
There are 2 types of allergy: inhaled allergy and ingested allergy. Their mechanisms are different, and people who are allergic to pollen during spring (inhaled allergy) usually tolerate the ingestion of Royal Jelly very well. There is a way of knowing if a person will be allergic to ingesting Royal Jelly, by asking them if they are allergic to honey in their diet (ingested allergy). If the answer is positive, products from the hive will not be recommended.
In case of doubt, it may be advised to begin with low doses and to gradually increase the dose.
How do you guarantee the quality of the raw materials used in Arkoroyal® products?

Royal Jelly contains “oestrogen-like” molecules, shouldn't it be not recommended in cases of hormone-dependent cancers?
Caution will be recommended in cases where there is a history of hormone-dependent cancer. Royal Jelly contains 10-HDA, a fatty acid with antibacterial, antiviral and angiogenesis-inhibiting properties. According to several studies, 10-HDA is thought to act on the oestrogen receptors of tumor cells. It is therefore better to avoid recommending Royal Jelly to patients with cancer or with a history of hormone-dependent cancer (Source: Moniteur des pharmacies No. 3157, December 24, 2016).
Does Royal Jelly make you put on weight?
Royal Jelly, in small quantities, does not make you put on weight. It contains relatively little sugar (around 15%), compared to honey for example (80%). Its calorific value is 140 kCal/100g, therefore the Royal Jelly (1500 mg) in an Arkoroyal® vial provides 2 kCal, that is the equivalent of a strawberry!
