For Arkopharma, a laboratory and healthcare player, generosity and commitment are fundamental values. In accordance with the Arkopharma Laboratories mission of "offering everyone, every day, more profound, longer-lasting well-being: the possibility to fully live their lives", our role of sponsor notably involves working with those who help improve the lives of all.
Arkopharma - Committed Partner to Théodora
THEODORA aims to put a smile back on the faces of children who are hospitalized or in specialist institutions.
Therefore, every year in France, over 20,000 children are visited by "Dream doctors" (working with hospitalized children) and "Mr. & Mrs. Dream" (working in specialist institutions, especially with autistic children), enabling them to escape the routine of their daily treatments.
Since 2010, Arkopharma is happy to be lending its name to the action taken by Théodora, via two measures:
- annual financial support to fund visits by clowns, notably in the Lenval hospital for children in Nice and the Medical-Educational Institute for autistic children, Les Coteaux d'Azur, in Carros,
- a partnership with the brand Azinc, for which some of the annual revenue from the sale of the products Azinc Forme and Vitalité Junior is donated to the charity.
In 2016, 141 visits took place, affecting 2,380 children.

Supporting Les Bouchons d'Amour: a Generous Initiative
At the start of this project, a simple observation was made by an Arkopharma employee further to sorting the various waste generated by his department: caps were not being collected for recycling!
This observation gave rise to the idea of a partnership with the charity "Les Bouchons d'Amour."
This organization collects plastic caps and sells them to a subsidiary that manufactures plastic pallets. The money collected by this operation is used to obtain equipment for disabled people (wheelchairs, etc.) and support humanitarian missions in France and abroad.
Since, in addition to the caps from our production site, many site employees bring their own caps to seven collection points set up in the company. Regularly, the charity comes to collect the containers full of caps in addition to plastic drums we give them to be used in other locations (schools and companies) as collection points.
Arkopharma is currently the main donor of drums in the region and also one of the main collection points with around 500kg of caps collected per year!
