Plant-derived Vitamin D3, from a sustainable source of Reindeer lichen, contributes to the proper functioning of the immune system, as well as maintaining bone mineral density and muscle function. Highly dosed, it contributes to the absorption of calcium and phosphorus.

Lichens are symbiotic organisms that combine a fungus with an alga. Found in different parts of the world (North America, Scandinavia, Asia...), Cladonia rangiferina is one species of Lichen. It is known as the Reindeer lichen because it is the main source of food for reindeer in winter.
As Lichen is one of the richest sources of vitamin D, reindeer accumulate vitamin D in their muscle tissue. This enables people living in northern regions (who eat reindeer meat) with little exposure to UV radiation to obtain the quantities of vitamin D they need.

VITAMIN D is an essential vitamin for the body. 

There are two forms of vitamin D: vitamin D2 (ergocalciferol), produced by plants, and vitamin D3 (cholecalciferol), mainly produced by animals. A plant form of vitamin D3 is also available, from Lichen Des Rennes.

Oral use. From the age of 3.

Children from 3 to 11 years old: 1 drop per day

Children from the age of 12 and adults: 5 drops, once a day

  • Shake before use.
  • Remove excess liquid from the pipette on the neck of the bottle, before administering the product.
  • Can be swallowed pure in a teaspoon or mixed with cold food (bread, yoghurt, fruit purée etc.). 

Recommendations for use

  • Do not exceed the recommended daily dose.
  • Do not take in combination with other products providing vitamin D.
  • Children under the age of 6, pregnant and breastfeeding women should seek the advice of a healthcare professional before taking any supplements.
  • A food supplement should not be used as a substitute for a varied and balanced diet and healthy lifestyle.
  • Keep out of the reach of young children.
  • Store the bottle in its box, at a temperature below 25°C.
