Properties and benefits
Milk thistle fruit is reputed to contain silymarin, a complex of three compounds characteristic of this plant: silychristin, silybin and silydianin.
Milk thistle is used to help reduce digestive discomfort. In particular, it is known to protect liver functions and contribute to healthy liver function.
Milk thistle leaves are spotted with white. These spots are associated with a lovely legend from the Middle Ages: the Virgin Mary, wanting to hide the infant Jesus from Herod's soldiers, concealed him under the leaves of a Milk Thistle. A few drops of milk fell from her breast onto the leaves, which have remained visible ever since.

Oral use. For adults only.
- Take 3 capsules per day, with meals and a large glass of water.
