Arkocaps® California poppy is a traditional herbal medicine used in states of mild nervous tension or in minor sleep disorders.

Its use is restricted to the specified indication.

California poppy (Eschscholtzia californica) was introduced to Europe in the 19th century as an ornamental plant by the Russian botanist J.F. Escholtz. A beautiful plant with distinctive yellow flowers, it is native to California, where it covers vast areas near redwood forests. California poppy belongs to the same family as the poppy.

Take by mouth. Swallow the capsule with a large glass of water.

Adults:

  • In case of mild nervous tension, the usual dose is 2 capsules, twice a day. The dosage can be increased to 5 capsules per day, if necessary.
  • In case of minor sleep disturbances, the usual dose is 2 capsules in the evening at mealtime and 2 capsules ½ hour to 1 hour before bedtime. The dosage can be increased to 5 capsules per day, if necessary.
  • The duration of the treatment is 1 month. If symptoms persist for more than 2 weeks while taking this medication, consult your doctor or pharmacist.
