Arkotoux® Syrup is indicated for the relief of dry and productive (oily) coughs in adults and children aged 2 and over. Arkotoux® Syrup has been specially formulated with 100% natural ingredients and contains no preservatives or colourings.

Arkotoux® Syrup soothes from day 1*:

  • It reduces the frequency and intensity of coughs* by protecting against external irritants.
  • It reduces irritation.
  • It provides long-lasting protection*.

Arkotoux® Syrup provides a barrier effect on mucous membranes thanks to its three key ingredients: glycerol, honey and Larch arabinogalactans. The syrup also moisturises the throat thanks to glycerol and Larch arabinogalactans.

Dosage

Oral use. Shake the bottle before use.Use a 5ml teaspoon. Clean the spoon after each use.

  • Children aged 2 to 5: Take 1 teaspoon (5ml) twice a day outside mealtimes, including 1 teaspoon before bedtime.
  • Adults and children aged 6 and over: 1 teaspoon (5 ml), 3 to 4 times a day, outside of mealtimes, including 1 teaspoon before bedtime.
  • Approved for pregnant and breast-feeding women.

Contraindications

This product is contraindicated:

 

  • in children under 2 years of age.
  • in case of allergy to one or more constituents, to thyme, or to another plant of the Lamiaceae family (e.g. Basil, Rosemary, Sage)
  • in case of fructose intolerance.

Precautions for use

Keep out of reach of children.

During treatment, if the child presents any of the following symptoms, medical attention should be sought: worsening cough, tiredness, fever, respiratory discomfort, noticeable loss of appetite.

If symptoms persist beyond 4 days of treatment, consult your doctor. Cough syrups should not be used in combination and are not recommended in cases of respiratory insufficiency

Storage conditions

Use within 30 days of opening. Close the bottle tightly after use.

Store at a temperature not exceeding 25°C.

 

Details of ingredients

Glycerol derived from vegetable oils - Honey - Larch (Larix sp.) arabinogalactans - Thyme (Thymus vulgaris L.) leaf extract - Oligofructose - Agave syrup - Water - Concentrated lemon juice - Xanthan gum - Natural red fruit flavouring.

Arkotoux® Syrup has a low glycaemic index thanks to the addition of slowly assimilated sugars from agave syrup and honey. Each 5ml dose contains approximately 1.5 grams of sugars.

Packaging mostly recyclable; Full analysis of packaging's environmental qualities and characteristics are currently being finalized.
