ACTIVOX® Syrup, thanks to the exclusive complex of polysaccharides contained in plant extracts and in the MUCOBARRYL® PLUS complex (larch arabinogalactan, Icelandic lichen thallus extract, karaya gum), forms a mucoadhesive gel with a protective action and a barrier capable of limiting contact with external agents and irritants.

ACTIVOX® Syrup helps to soothe coughs, protect the mucous membranes, reduce the burning sensation and promote the elimination of secretions.

ACTIVOX® Syrup contains no gluten, lactose, colourings or synthetic preservatives.

Children aged 1 to 6: 5 ml twice a day.

Children aged 6 to 12: 5 ml up to 4 times a day.

Adults: 10 ml 2 to 4 times a day.

Shake the bottle before use to make the syrup homogeneous and use the cup to measure out the recommended amount. Any deposits are due to the natural nature of the product and in no way affect its quality. After use, carefully close the bottle and rinse the measuring cup. Consume within two months of opening.

Precautions for use

This product contains glucose and fructose. This should be taken into account by patients who monitor their sugar intake.

For children under the age of 12, it is advisable to take the product on the advice of a doctor.

Do not use in cases of oesophageal obstruction.

In the event of hiatus hernia, consult your doctor before taking the product.

Interactions with food supplements and medicinal products

With regard to the ingredients of ACTIVOX® Syrup, at the doses used in the product, the only known interaction is a modification of the pharmacokinetics of ibuprofen by larch arabinogalactan. As a general rule, it is advisable to take the product two hours before or after taking medicines or food supplements. It is advisable to consult your doctor if you are taking medication.

Conditions for storage

Keep ACTIVOX® Syrup in a dry place away from sources of heat or direct light. Keep out of the reach of children. Store between 8°C and 25°C. Close tightly after use.

Side effects 

At the doses required to obtain a therapeutic effect, the appearance of side effects has never been reported. The only exception could be, in rare cases, mild and transient bloating due to the fermentation of polysaccharides in the intestine.

Do not use if you have an individual allergy/hypersensitivity to any of the ingredients. Do not use if you have a known allergy to bees.
