Homer said: ‘Health is a healthy mind in a healthy body.’ Well-being and fitness do not depend solely on external factors (social circle, professional success, social advancement, etc.). They also depend on our inner state, which is the best guarantee of maintaining our vitality.

What can you do to regain your energy?

  • Sleep: too little sleep or disturbed sleep is often the cause of fatigue during the day. To reduce feelings of fatigue, you need not only sufficient quantity of sleep but also quality sleep.
  • Diet: a balanced diet is essential. However, taking sufficient supplements of vitamins, minerals and trace elements can help prevent feelings of fatigue.
  • Stress: subject to numerous time constraints and performance requirements, our daily lives are often lived ‘under pressure’. Stress can be a factor in causing temporary fatigue.
  • Natural defences: depending on the season, our bodies are more or less affected by a decrease in natural defences.

My goals for staying in shape

Good physical condition depends on physical and mental factors. To stay in shape, I set myself achievable goals. To do this:

  • I make sure I maintain my energy levels by eating properly, exercising regularly, getting enough sleep and listening to my body! I don't hesitate to take a course of herbal remedies or energising supplements, if necessary.
  • I take the necessary steps to nourish and boost my brain, in order to maintain a healthy mind in a healthy body.

In addition, you can take advantage of the benefits of plants and essential oils.

  • Multivitamin supplements: there are many products available in pharmacies containing vitamins, trace elements and minerals, to reduce fatigue. A one- to two-month course of treatment usually helps to get back on track.
  • If you are feeling tired, combine Acerola, which is naturally rich in vitamin C, with Goji berries. You could also try Ginseng or Ginger, which are traditionally used to combat fatigue.
  • Try essential oils: on medical advice, add a drop of Eucalyptus essential oil to a spoonful of honey or a hot drink.
