ARKOPHARMA came into the homeopathic remedies by taking over Ferrier Laboratories in 1991 and the Laboratory of Complex Homeopathy in 1996.
Three types of products are on offer:
Traditional homeopathy with Ferrier tinctures and Influenzinum 'flu kits;
Self-medication homeopathy: Contusium, Aftosium, Anxietum, Eritium, Urticium, Denticium. The utility of these complex preparations lies in their side-effect-free efficacy.
Formules de l'Abbé Chaupitre: these are complex forms, prepared in accordance with homeopathic tradition, which cover many pathologies and are of considerable interest to consumers.
The ARKOPHARMA Group entered the homeopathic medecine in 1991 by taking over LABORATOIRES HOMEOPATHIE FERRIER, followed by LABORATOIRE D'HOMEOPATHIE COMPLEXE in 1996. These accessions fit into the same care philosophy as the Group's original business, with overall treatment of the body by non-aggressive methods.
THE CHILDREN'S KIT
Homeopathy is particularly well suited to small children, notably because of the absence of sideeffects.
Thus several products are aimed at this target: NOCTIUM Syrup: a soothing homeopathic syrup for children, for skin irritation, DENTICUM: a gingival gel designed to relieve teething and associated problems, CONTUSIUM: a gel consisting mainly of arnica, to relieve knocks, bumps and bruises.

DAMIANA, new in 2002, extended the range of FERRIER mother tinctures (reimbursed medicines), now comprising 55 products, manufactured from strictly controlled raw materials. A range of 15 OTC homeopathic products (including ANXIETUM sublingual tablet against stress and anxiety and AFTOSIUM for the treatment of affections of the buccal cavity). INFLUENZINUM, indicated for the prevention of the influenzal state and influenzal syndromes, the strain of which is renewed every year according to the way the virus evolves. The 45 ABBÉ CHAUPITRE formulas, homeopathic drops, cover numerous indications and arouse keen interest in consumers.
HOME MEDICATION PRODUCTS
For some years now, the ARKOPHARMA Group has been in the home medication market through a
range covering the fields of pain and digestion, with: SILIGAZ, ASPIRISUCRE, DEXTOMA and CALMIPHASE cream. The ORL area has not been overlooked since the ACTIVOX range offers a
dosage form suited to each type of mouthwash, tablets for inhaling and ointment) and it was joined this year by two new products with the launch of ACTIVOX Mint/Eucalyptus Gums (two versions, one with sugar, one without).
