Our line of conduct has always been to seek out the best in Nature
and to do this, we owe it to ourselves to have respect for it.
With a business that is close to Nature, the ARKOPHARMA Group
has developed an environment-friendly industrial policy.
The actions undertaken by the
Environment Department are:
• Protection of the environment:
- Control of consumption of energy resources, raw materials and packages,
- Control of water consumption,
- Self-monitoring of our waste water,
- Monitoring of our emissions into the atmosphere,
- Monitoring of noise emission,
- Management of ordinary and hazardous
waste,
- Sensitization and information of employees.
• Observance of regulations:
- Environmental Code,
- Regulations on environmentally classified installations,
- The Bye-law issued by the Préfecture,
- APSAD standards,
- ATEX standards,
- European regulations
• The sanitation of all the sites Participation in building projects:
-Determination of regulatory constraints to be observed in
regard to buildings and premises,
- Validation of plans,
- Monitoring the progress of projects.
• Setting up the module for compiling safety data sheets:
- Deployment of the SAP module
called EH & S (Environment,
Hygiene and Safety), making it possible
to generate data sheets on safety, lists of constraints, instructions
for safe transport,
- Performance of the procedures related to the module's proper working,
- Training.
