The digestive system and digestion are at the centre of these various problems because modern day life means that we no longer have time to look after them sufficiently:
Grocery shopping done 'on the quick' after a long day at work: fresh fruit and vegetables are no more and have been replaced by 'ready meals', far from encouraging a healthy diet and subsequent digestive comfort... 'express' meals, barely taking the time to sit down... nicotine abuse, caffeine abuse... stress and anxiety... These various factors, on their own or combined with each other, have today become a normality for those who have a 'digestion' that is not as simple as it once was.
